On June 11, 2015, at 15:30 (CET) another “RISKSUR Surveillance Surgery” live webinar took place, targeted at key stakeholders with respect to animal health surveillance in Europe.
The topic of the webinar was “Surveillance design framework – a tool for design and documentation of animal health surveillance systems”. It was delivered using the online meeting format (Adobe® Connect™ webinar), where participants had the opportunity to ask their questions. Topics discussed includde:
- designing appropriate surveillance activities to attend specific surveillance objectives
- revising current designs to improve performance
- documentation.
Some of the key experts in this field in Europe were attending, including the RISKSUR consortium team who developed the design tool: Fernanda Dórea (presenter) and Arianna Comin and Ann Lindberg (SVA, Sweden); Birgit Schauer (FLI, Germany); Lucy Snow (APHA, UK) and Linda Hoinville (RVC, UK).
